(Washington, D.C.)– A northwest Iowa business has received special recognition for recruiting, employing and retaining veterans.
Iowa Lakes Regional Water of Spencer receive a platinum level award through the U.S. Department of Labor’s HIRE Vets program.
The award was presented Wednesday at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. Hosted by Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia.
Iowa Lakes Regional Water was one of five Iowa businesses that received either a Platinum or Gold level award through the HIRE Vets program.
