(Rock Rapids)– A traffic stop this past Sunday evening in Lyon county resulted in the arrest of a Worthington man.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says it happened a little after 10:00 pm when a deputy pulled over a vehicle on Highway 9. The driver, 18-year-old Michael Montoya-Mendez of Worthington was charged with possession of a controlled substance and contributing to juvenile delinquency.
A juvenile passenger was charged with possession of a controlled substance and was released to a guardian.
