(Orange City)– Authorities in Sioux county say a Sheldon man had to be tasered after he allegedly confronted a deputy in a threatening manner.
The Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 2:30 pm Monday when deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence west of Sheldon. Upon arriving they found the suspect, 36-year-old William Perry of Sheldon. Authorities say Perry continued to confront a deputy and was tasered. He was then arrested and charged with interference with official acts.
Authorities say Perry also allegedly made threats to harm responders and the victim who reported the incident.
