(Spirit Lake)– Another reminder of National Drug Take Back Day coming up this Saturday (Oct. 26th).
Locally, the Spirit Lake Police Department will have a drop-off at the Spirit Lake Hy-Vee from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
Authorities say it’s a good opportunity to properly dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs. They say it’s also a good way to make sure those drugs don’t get into the wrong hands.
Officials also remind everyone there are permanent drop-off locations at the west entrance of the Dickinson County Courthouse as well as the pharmacy at the Spirit Lake Hy-Vee and Lewis Drug in Spirit Lake.
