I-90 Crash At Sherburn Injures Two People

(Sherburn, Mn.)– Two people were injured in a three vehicle accident last (Monday) night on Interstate 90 at the Sherburn exit.

A Minnesota State Patrol report states that 81 year-old Roger Rich of Goodspring, TN was driving a 2003 Ford Escape the wrong way down the eastbound I-90 ramp to Sherburn when he collided with a 2005 Peterbuilt Semi driven by 60 year-old Donald Asmus of Blue Earth, who was eastbound on the ramp. Rich’s Ford came to rest on the bridge.

17 year-old Kari Maier of Fairmont was driving a 1990 Chevy Lumina eastbound on the ramp and collided with the parked Ford.

Rich and Maier were transported to a Fairmont hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Asmus was not injured.

The Martin County Sheriff’s office and Sherburn Police assisted at the scene.
