(Estherville)– The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a traffic stop September 26th that resulted in the arrest of a Spirit Lake man.
Authorities say the stop was made in the 1600 block of Central Avenue in Estherville. An investigation revealed that the driver, 21-year-old Landon Wenzel of Spirit Lake, was allegedly in possession of what was believed to be a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Wenzel was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…2nd offense, operating while intoxicated…2nd offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
