(Spencer)– It was announced today (Thurs.) Greg Post has been named President of Northwest Financial Corporation in Arnolds Park, succeeding Jeff Plagge in the position. Post will also continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Bank.
Plagge was recently appointed as the Iowa Superintendent of Banking by Governor Kim Reynolds. He’ll continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Financial Corporation through a transition period.
Northwest Financial Corporation is a two bank, privately owned financial services holding company. The banks include Northwest Bank of Spencer and First National Bank of Creston. Combined, they have assets of nearly two billion dollars with 23 offices throughout Iowa and eastern Nebraska.
