“We have our Emerging Leaders Summit that we’re doing for young professionals. Registration and lunch from 12:00 to 1:00.”
Brandon Rohrig of the Iowa Great Lakes Young Professionals says the event will also feature a panel of speakers…
“We have a bunch of different chamber leaders and economic development leaders coming in just to answer user submitted questions, and we have some prepped questions for them as well, and then during the actual session we’ll have time for whoever attends the conference to ask them questions moving forward as well. And then after our community leader panel we’ll go into three different breakout sessions. Of them is going to be talking about fierce conversations and having those difficult conversations at work. We have Senator Zach Whiting who’s going to be talking about getting involved with your community, and even politically if you would like. And then a panel of different young professional leaders from our area to talk about best practices performing in your own group or just being active in the community as well.”
