(Primghar)– A two-vehicle collision this past Saturday in O’Brien county sent one person to the hospital.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 60-year-old Kelly Nieuwenhuis of Primghar was driving a 2013 GMC Sierra and 22-year-old Jacob Rook, also of Primghar, was driving a 2001 Pontiac Montanna when the two collided at an intersection.
Rook was taken by private vehicle to the Primghar hospital.
Both vehicles sustained severe damage.
Nieuwenhuis was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.
