September 30, 2019

(Worthington, Mn.)– Three men have been arrested in connection with numerous burglaries in Nobles and Cottonwood counties in southwest Minnesota and Osceola and Dickinson counties.

The suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Coal Mayer and 22-year-old Sebastian Baker, both of Round Lake, and 22-year-old Jason Meyer of Worthington.

A criminal complaint says Mayer confessed in an interview with authorities his involvement along with the other two suspects and another one that wasn’t named. The burglaries occurred at AmeriGas in Worthington, Cemstone in Windom, Cohrs Construction in Spirit Lake and Milford Electric in Milford. The complaint says safes were removed from several businesses, with one of them being found in a creek in Jackson county.

The complaint also makes reference to a search warrant that was executed on Mayer’s and Baker’s residences where authorities recovered most of the items that were stolen, including two handguns, ammunition, more than $3,000 in cash and an ATV.
