Field Of Republicans Looking To Unseat Steve King Grows Some More

September 27, 2019

(Arnolds Park)– The field of Republican candidates looking to unseat Steve King has grown some more. A lakes area businessman has thrown his hat into the ring.

Commercial real estate broker Steve Reeder Thursday evening kicked off his campaign at the Nutty Bar Stand at Arnolds Park.

Reeder says he wants to “provide transparent dialogue to restore trust and confidence in representation in Washington.” He says his campaign is centered on balancing the federal budget, improving health care, and revitalizing rural areas.

Reeder will face King, Senator Randy Feenstra, Woodbury County Supervisor Jeremy Taylor and former Irwin Mayor Bret Richards in the Fourth District G-O-P primary.
