(Estherville)– A traffic stop last week at the intersection of Orchard Lane and Highway 9 in Estherville resulted in the arrests of two men on drug charges.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted the stop after observing a traffic violation. A subsequent investigation resulted in the deputy discovering that the occupants of the vehicle were allegedly in possession of a controlled substance.
The driver, 30-year-old Dylan Olsen of Moorhead, Minnesota was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated…2nd offense, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A passenger, Thomas Schussler of West Fargo, North Dakota was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Estherville Police Department assisted in making the arrests.
