DNR Investigating A Fish Kill In NW Iowa

September 20, 2019

(Hull)– The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is investigating a fish kill in northwest Iowa.

The DNR says it appears the fish kill happened Tuesday or possibly before at an unnamed tributary of Burr Oak Creek near a golf course north of Hull in Sioux county.

DNR staff have not determined a cause of the fish kill, adding that a multiple of pollutant sources have been ruled out.

There was no word as to the extent of the fish kill.
