(Estherville)– Police in Estherville say they’ve made two arrests in connection with the investigation of the death of a man back on January 29th, 2018. Authorities say attempts to resuscitate the 27-year-old man who was found unresponsive were unsuccessful. The victim was identified as Matthew John Strayer of Estherville. Strayer’s body was later transferred to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Police say based on the findings of the autopsy and an extensive investigation, warrants were issued for the arrests Lance Rosburg and Jeremy Polzin in connection with the death.
Rosburg has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, delivery of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, gatherings where controlled substances are unlawfully used and two counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp.
Polzin was charged with delivery of methamphetamine and gatherings where controlled substance are unlawfully used.
