Iowa Lakes Community college has received accredidation from the Iowa Department of Education for its Casino Management program which wioll start this fall. Mary Mohni, ILCC Chief Academic Officer, says the college started looking into offering a casnio management prgoram when the state approved an expansion of gaming. Mohni says graduates of the program will receive an Associate in Science degree, and says the colege has already received quite a few inquiries. The program will be based in the Emmebetsburg campus.
