(Spencer)– The Clay County Fair starts its eight-day run this coming Saturday, September 9th, and runs through Sunday, September 17th.
Manager Phil Hurst says a major effort was made to update the fair and make it fun for a whole new generation of fairgoers.
Hurst says all three outdoor stages will have entirely new acts this year, and a fourth outdoor stage has been added.
Fair planners are hoping a major draw will be the addition of an Xtreme motor sport event on the final day of the fair.
