(Spencer)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a two-vehicle collision last week that sent a Milford woman to the hospital.
It happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the North “Y”.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 70-year-old Larry Egland of Emmetsburg was southbound in the outside lane of Highway 71 when he switched to the inside lane and collided with a southbound vehicle driven by 30-year-old Nikolle Bell of Milford.
Minor injuries were reported to Bell, who apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment. No injuries were reported to Egland who was charged with making an improper turn.
Four thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 2002 Dodge Intrepid driven by Bell. Damage to a 2000 Dodge Caravan driven by Egland was estimated at one thousand dollars.
