(Estherville)– A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday on a recently completed housing project at the Estherville campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.
Two new four-plex units were unveiled, bringing the total number of on campus student housing units at the Estherville campus to 91.
Mary Larscheid, Executive Dean of the Estherville campus, says the new units are already full.
She adds the new units are heated and cooled using geothermal equipment to provide the best possible energy efficiency.
A ribbon cutting was also held last month at the Spencer campus for new dorms built there as well.
