Arnolds Park Man Charged In Connection With Apartment Fire

(Arnolds Park)– An Arnolds Park man has been charged in connection with a fire earlier this month that damaged an apartment above the Bluewater Cabaret in Arnolds Park.

According to documents on file at the Dickinson County Clerk of Court’s Office, Earl Bice of Arnolds Park has been charged with arson in the first degree in connection with the September 10th fire. He was booked into the Dickinson county jail on 25-thousand dollars bond. A preliminary hearing is set for September 29th in Dickinson County District Court.

Bice has also been charged with burglary in the second degree. Bond on that charge was set at 10-thousand dollars. Bice is also accused of stealing food, alcohol and money from the Bluewater Cabaret.

The fire caused an estimated five-thousand to ten-thousand dollars in damage to the apartment.
