(Spirit Lake)– A recently released audit report into finances at Lakes Regional Healthcare shows the hospital’s revenues were down while expenses were up over the past year.
According to the report, L-R-H posted revenue of 20,707,377-dollars for the year ended June 30th, 2006…a 3.3 percent decrease from the prior year.
Expenses totaled slightly more than 21 million dollars…a three percent increase from the prior year. It included 8.1 million dollars in salaries; 4.7 million in supplies and other expenses and 2.3 million dollars for various services and professional fees.
A copy of the report is available for public inspection in the hospital administrator’s office and on the State Auditor’s Office website.
