Teens Arrested In Clay County, Accused Of Possessing Alcohol

(Spencer)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has released details into an incident that took place last Sunday. It resulted in the arrests of several teenagers for allegedly possessing alcohol.

Authorities say it all started around 11:30 p.m. with a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 2600 block of 310th Street in Clay county. A deputy located the vehicle and a subsequent investigation resulted in a 16-year-old juvenile male from Dickens being arrested for driving while suspended, minor in possession of alcohol and an administrative action on his driver’s license, or zero tolerance. He was cited and released to the custody of his mother.

A 15-year-old female from Spencer was arrested and charged with minor in possession of alcohol and was released to her parents.

Also arrested was 19-year-old Chance Marie Wolthuis of Spencer who was charged with supplying alcohol to minors, minor in possession of alcohol and allowing an unauthorized minor to drive a motor vehicle. She was booked into jail and was released after posting bond.
