(Spencer)– A report of a suspicious person Wednesday night in Spencer landed a man in jail on drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy located a subject identified as 22-year-old Eric Balsley of Spencer in the area of West Second Street and Third Avenue West around 10:45 p.m. Balsley is accused of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody and booked into the Clay county jail.
A consent search of Balsley’s residence at 319 West First Street in Spencer allegedly turned up additional drug paraphernalia.
