(Sibley)– The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a single-vehicle rollover Sunday that resulted in minor injuries to the driver.
Authorities say 17-year-old Elizabeth Kamstra of Sheldon was driving a 1991 Ford Ranger northbound on Highway 60 near Ashton when she struck some loose gravel on the east shoulder of the road, causing her to lose control. Authorities say Kamstra then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll into the median.
Kamstra was taken by the Ashton ambulance to the Sheldon hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
The pickup Kamstra was driving sustained an estimated three thousand dollars in damage.
Kamstra was cited for failure to maintain control.
