(Spencer)– A motorcycle accident Thursday evening near Spencer has resulted in charges being filed against a Spencer man.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a motorcycle accident around 7:00 p.m. in the area of the 2900 block of 260th Avenue near Spencer. Authorities say the driver fled on foot. With the assistance of the department’s K-9 Unit, deputies located 42-year-old Gregory Durst in a field a short time later, where he was apprehended.
Durst was charged with operating while intoxicated…second offense; failure to maintain control and violating a restricted license. He was booked into the Clay county jail.
