(Sibley)– A child riding a bicycle was seriously injured last Thursday in Sibley when a motorist backing out of a driveway collided with him, knocking him over.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says the rider of the bike, five-year-old Harison Robertson of Sibley, was taken by ambulance to the Sibley hospital with incapacitating injuries.
No injuries were reported to the driver of the car, 16-year-old Chelsey Taylor of Sibley. No damage was reported to the vehicle she was driving.
The mishap took place shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Eighth Avenue just north of Fourth Street in Sibley.
