Worthington Woman Arrested On Identity Theft, Forgery Charges

(Orange City)– Another Worthington, Minnesota resident has been arrested on forgery and identity theft by authorities in Sioux county.

Deputies say 40-year-old Nicolasa Lopez-Ramos of Worthington was arrested around 9:30 a.m. Monday when she showed up for work at Center Fresh Egg in Sioux Center.

Deputies say their investigation revealed Lopez-Ramos was allegedly using someone else’s identity to work at the business.

Identity theft and forgery are class “D” felonies.

Lopez-Ramos was booked into the Sioux county jail.
