(Arnolds Park)– A new ride will be featured this coming summer at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
Scott Pyle, the park’s General Manager, told the board of directors of Historic Arnolds Park, Incorporated Wednesday he recently returned from a sale of surplus equipment from an amusement park in Ohio where he purchased a ride similar to a “Rock ‘O Plane”. Pyle says it has a tall center-mast with arms that passengers sit in. He says it has a capacity for eight adults or 12 kids. Pyle says the ride rotates clockwise and counter-clockwise and pivots up and lies flat. He says the ride will arrive by truck soon.
In addition, Pyle says they’re planning on bringing back the “kiddie cars”, which had been in storage several years.
