(Spencer)– A person listed on the Des Moines Police Department’s “Metro’s Most Wanted” has been arrested in Spencer.
Spencer Police Chief Michael Lashbrook says his department arrested 34-year-old David Glen Cohen Thursday at 223 West Park Street in Spencer.
Lashbrook says Cohen was on a most wanted list referred to as the “Dirty Dozen”. Lashbrook says Spencer police had been in contact with the Des Moines Police Department who had information that Cohen was living in the Spencer area.
Cohen was wanted on a charge of child endangerment and was known to go armed. Spencer police, with assistance from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, made contact with Cohen and arrested him without incident.
Cohen was booked into the Clay county jail on 6,500-dollars bond pending transport back to Des Moines.
