(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Wednesday in Spencer sent two people to the hospital.
Spencer police say 46-year-old Lori Richter of Sutherland was making a left turn onto Grand Avenue from 11th Street Southwest and 29-year-old Angel Haverkorn of Ruthven was westbound on 11th Street Southeast when the two collided in the intersection.
Both Richter and Haverkorn complained of pain and were taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital.
Lori Richter was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way upon making a left turn.
3,500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1991 Buick driven by Richter; a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Haverkorn sustained an estimated three thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap took place shortly after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
