(Everly)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident in which several ladders were stolen from outside a funeral home.
Authorities say they received a report Friday regarding the theft of a 24-foot extension ladder and two eight-foot step ladders that were lying on the grass beside Warner Funeral Home in Everly.
It’s believed the ladders were taken sometime in the last week or so. They’re valued at 600-dollars.
