Juvenile Male Accused Of Stalking CCE Female Students Via Computer

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A juvenile has been charged for allegedly using a computer to harass some girls at the Clay Central Everly school.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the 15-year-old male has been charged with harassment via computer…a simple misdemeanor. His name hasn’t been released.

Authorities say the arrest comes on the heels of a month-long investigation into complaints from numerous students, parents and teachers regarding e-mails that were being sent to girls at the Clay Central Everly school. They say the e-mails were annoying and were sometimes sexual in nature and that it appeared the victims were being stalked.

The juvenile was arrested on Wednesday. He was released to the custody of his parents to appear in juvenile court at a later date.
