(Spencer)– A complaint of a suspicious vehicle two miles north of Spencer has resulted in charges against three teenage juveniles who’s names haven’t been released.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it stems from a report received shortly before 5:00 p.m. back on Friday. Upon arriving deputies discovered two juvenile males allegedly in possession of tobacco. Both were cited and released.
A female juvenile who was also at the scene was taken into custody after allegedly providing false information to officers. She was cited into juvenile court for interference with official acts and was released to the custody of her parents.
Authorities say their investigation continues and more charges are expected.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Spencer Police Department.
