(Spencer)– Paramedics, nursing professionals and others will gather in Spencer this Saturday (Feb. 10th) for a bio-preparedness conference.
The program is being offered through Iowa Lakes Community College and the National Disaster Life Support Program.
Organizers say the program is a comprehensive all-hazards approach to help health officials deal with catastrophic emergencies from terrorist acts as well as explosions, fires, natural disasters and infectious diseases.
The conference begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the Spencer campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.
