(Spirit Lake)– Elected officials in Dickinson county will be getting a four percent pay hike in the upcoming fiscal year.
The board of supervisors this (Tuesday) morning unanimously approved a recommendation from the county’s Compensation Board calling for the four percent hike for the Auditor, Sheriff, County Attorney, Recorder and Treasurer.
Salaries for other employees will be set in the near future as the county continues its budget process for the upcoming fiscal year.
Preliminary indications are pointing toward increases in both the county’s rural service and general fund levies.
