(Okoboji)– A revised noise ordinance is going on the books in Okoboji.
The city council Tuesday adopted the revision following a third reading.
The new ordinance allows police officers to initiate complaints, which previously had to come from citizens.
In other business, the council voted to advertise for bids to demolish an old hangar at the airport the city had previously used for storage; approved a plat for a subdivision in the area of the Ranch Amusement Park; and they approved the appointment of Gary Voss to an at-large seat on the board of directors of Central Water.
The council also tabled action on a Personnel Committee recommendation for a wage package for city employees for the upcoming fiscal year.
