(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man is accused of sexually assaulting an adult female.
Spirit Lake police say 18-year-old Aaron Wade Opdyke was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual assault in the third degree…a class “C” felony; kidnapping in the third degree…also a class “C” felony; and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana…a serious misdemeanor.
Opdyke was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Officers say they were called to a residence in Spirit Lake for an assault complaint. They say an investigation and subsequent interviews resulted in Opdyke being taken into custody.
