(Spencer)– The city of Spencer has an interim Police Chief.
Mayor Reynold Peterson announced at Monday’s city council meeting he’s appointed Lieutenant Jim Berhow to the position until a premanent chief is hired to replace Mike Lashbrook, who’s resigning to become Police Chief in Mason City.
Berhow has been with the Spencer Police Department more than 20 years.
He plans to retire when a new Chief is hired.
