(Estherville)– A search warrant executed Thursday on an apartment in Estherville turned up a kitten that had been reported stolen from a Spencer animal shelter.
Authorities say their search at four North Seventh Street turned up a calico kitten that had been reported stolen from People for Pets in Spencer back in October, 2006.
At this point, no charges have been filed. But officials say that will probably change as their investigation unfolds.
The cat was in good condition and was returned to People for Pets.
