V-A Announces Site For SL Community-Based Outpatient Clinic

(Spirit Lake)– The Sioux Falls Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center announced Monday the bid for the location of a new V-A Community-based Outpatient Clinic in Spirit Lake has been awarded to B.V. Building, LLC in Spirit Lake and will be located in the Dickinson County Courtyard…a new strip mall on the north side of Lake Street across from Central Bank.

The clinic is tentatively scheduled to open this coming July.

The Spirit Lake Community-based Outpatient Clinic will provide non-emergent healthcare to veterans in northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota currently travelling to Sioux Falls.

Additional information about the new clinic will be announced at town hall meetings January 24th and 25th. Meetings on the 24th are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Nobles County Government Center in Worthington; 11:30 a.m. at the Sibley VFW; 2:30 p.m. at the O’Brien County Courthouse in Primghar; and at 4:00 p.m. at the Clay County Administration Building in Spencer.

Meetings January 25th are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the public library in Fairmont; 12:30 p.m. at the Jackson American Legion; 3:00 p.m. at the Expo Building in Spirit Lake and 6:00 p.m. at the Estherville VFW.
