Southern Mn. Shooting Death Ruled Accidental

November 22, 2014

(Trimont, Mn.)– Authorities in southern Minnesota say the shooting death of a Trimont man this past weekend was accidental.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Andrew Glidden was shot while hunting Sunday near Trimont. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say Glidden’s hunting party had chased some deer into a grove, then into an open field, resulting in crossfire that struck Glidden.

The Martin County Attorney’s Office says no criminal charges will be filed.
