The University of Okoboji Winter Games Committee has an idea. You tree can become a part of the bondfire associated with the opening ceremonies of the Winter Games, which will be held January 27th through the 29th. Several drop-of sites have been established around the Iowa Great Lakes Area. Natural Christmas trees can be dropped off at semi-trailers parked at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Spirit Lake; the Arnolds Park Amusement Park parking lot; and the city of Mlford Maintenance Building.Copyright GCI all rights reserved.
