Worthington, Mn. Man Arrested On Theft & Forgery Charges In Osceola County

(Sibley)– A Worthington, Minnesota man has been arrested on identity theft and forgery charges in Osceola county.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Josue Barrera of Worthington was arrested Friday on charges of identity theft and forgery…both class “D” felonies; and failure to have a valid driver’s license…a simple misdemeanor.

Barrera is accused of using a name and social security number belonging to someone else to get a job at Sunrise Farms of rural Harris.

Barrera was booked into the Osceola county jail on a 10,300-dollar cash bond.

A detainer was also placed on Barrera from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
