(Emmetsburg)– 13 minors and four adults have been cited by police following a drinking party in Emmetsburg last weekend.
Police have been investigating the party since last Saturday (October 29th). 17 citations have been issued so far in connection with the incident.
13 minors were cited for underage possession of alcohol. They include eight from Emmetsburg, one from Curlew, one from Webb, one from Ruthven, a 17-year-old from Ayrshire and a 15-year-old from Cylinder. In addition, 17-year-old Danielle Kenny from Emmetsburg was referred to juvenile court on a charge of supplying alcohol to minors.
Four adults were also issued citations for underage possession of alcohol–three from Emmetsburg and an 18-year-old from Ruthven. In addition, 19-year-old Adam Kenny of Emmetsburg was charged with supplying alcohol to minors.
