(Spencer)– A traffic stop west of Spencer Thursday has resulted in the arrest of a Spencer woman on drug charges.
A Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled a vehicle over in the 1500 block of County Road B-24 around 3:20 p.m. for a traffic violation. The deputy discovered the driver, 28-year-old Tabatha Ferini, was driving under suspension. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a substance alleged to be marijuana.
Ferrini was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, failure to file S.R. insurance and failure to prove security.
Ferrini was booked into the Clay county jail.
