Traffic Stop Lands Woman In Jail

(Spencer)– A Grand Junction, Iowa woman faces drug charges following a traffic stop Friday evening in Clay County.

According to a press release, a Clay County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over a vehicle a little before 9:00 pm in the 3600 mile of 310th Avenue, or Clay County Road N-14. It led to the discovery of marijuana and an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.

37-year-old Teresa Steinkamp was charged with possession of a controlled substance…1st offense…marijuana, and open container. She was booked into the Clay County Jail.
