Three Harris Residents Charged With Animal Neglect

(Sibley)– The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office today (Wed.) announced it’s formally charged three people from Harris with animal neglect.

74-year-old Mark Leroy Shreve, 72-year-old Arlene Joyce Shreve and 37-year-old Mark Brenden Shreve were charged with 10 counts each of animal neglect, a simple misdemeanor.

The charges are the result of a search warrant executed October 18th which resulted in 55 dogs and eight cats being seized from a residence in Harris.

A simple misdemeanor carries a maximum fine of five-hundred dollars and/or 30 days in jail.
