(Spencer)– A Spencer man has been arrested on theft charges stemming from an investigation by Spencer police.
22-year-old Donald Gordon has been charged with second degree theft. He’s accused of stealing roughly 25-thousand dollars from a Spencer business.
The investigation revealed that Gordon worked in the customer service department of a local grocery store. He is charged with ringing up returned items for more money than they were worth, pocketing the difference.
It’s believed the thefts have been occurring since August of last year.
Gordon was booked into the Clay county jail.
