(Armstrong)– A report by the State Auditor’s Office into financial records for the city of Armstrong has turned up 18 findings. The report covers the time period of July 1st, 2024 through June 30th, 2025.
Issues that were identified include a lack of segregation of duties, lack of utility reconciliations, disbursements that exceeded budgeted amounts, deficit fund balances and transfers that weren’t properly approved by resolution.
The report says 14 of the findings were repeated from the prior year.
