(Spencer)– A Spencer woman is accused of driving drunk while her kids were in the vehicle with her.
Spencer police say they pulled over 30-year-old Gwynne Chilton Tuesday in the 300 block of East Park Street for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation authorities determined Chilton was intoxicated. She was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated…second offense; and child endangerment, as two children were in the vehicle.
Chilton was booked into the Clay county jail; the children were turned over to the custody of their father.
