(Spencer)– Authorities are investigating a break-in at a Spencer church.
Spencer police say they received a report shortly after 9:00 a.m. last Thursday that a break-in had taken place at Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer. An undetermined amount of money was taken and 350-dollars in damage was done to the building.
Spencer police are also investigating an incident in which four security lights were damaged in the 700 block of West Ninth Street. Police received that report around 9:00 a.m. Friday.
Authorities are also investigating a car burglary reported around 10:40 a.m. Sunday. Spencer police say an Alpine stereo and C-D player, two 15-inch subwoofers and an amplifier were taken from a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Eighth Street Southwest in Spencer. The items are valued at 3,300-dollars.
